That's right... shame on the Herald for besmirching this good man's name! Oh wait... it was the Telegraph this time.

Did I mention that either the Telecrap or Herald wrote it???

No mention of the employee

No quote from the employee

No mention of the dates the employee was bullied

A quote from Ozzie basically saying what are you talking about

Spags confirming the club is finalising the findings for the board to make a call on Ozzies employment.

Isn't that his standard response these days?

Why would you be excited if you didn't think we had a good coach and players?

They've all already proven their quality, no matter how much you try to downplay it.

Well, I think Kearney remains an unknown quantity. But when you consider that Parramatta had (in my opinion) the worst roster in the NRL BY FAR this year (our spine consisted of one player), I think we over-achieved big time. People say that the attitude was soft because we were in the hunt for most games until the last ten to 15 minutes and then capitulated. I say we had no right to be anywhere near in the hunt in any game this year. So on that score alone, I`m inclined to think that Kearney probably will prove to be a very good coach. Not a great coach - just a very good coach. Time will tell.

I wouldn`t have a clue - and I don`t really want to know - but reading the various posts it seems that some group of people have agendas against the current board (Fitzgerald keeps being named as someone who still has influence, and Ray Hadley, certainly. Others?) But the real answer is that as soon as this club wins a premiership or two, it`s going to be a lot harder to criticise them. Maybe now is the exact time we should all get behind the club, the coach, the players (now that Mortimer is gone ) and the board. With a new half-back and with signings iminent for 2013, perhaps we`re not that far off. A lot of this negative stuff might be largley due to the fact we have not won a premiership since `86. As soon as we do, a lot of it will stop.

Shut up lingard with your agenda driven drivel. :)

I'll think you will find that most people that are anti-board are still very much behind the coach and players. I'm certainly hoping that they go all the way in the next few years - and if they do so it will be despite the actions of the board.

I think the thread will close when we stop giving the papers negative shit to write about. Seems to be the go for a few years now.

Hurry up Spags and either put the fire out or burn the merkin at the stake.

You need to learn what the definition of a forum is. Just because someone agrees with your view doesn't and shouldn't end the conversation for others.

It should also be noted that because one might not like or support the current CEO and/or board, does not mean they have an agenda against them, and it certainly doesn't meant that aren't behind the 'Parramatta Eels', who are, and will always be, bigger than the people in charge of the club at any point in time.

You'd be surprised

FMD you're worse than Tony Abbott. Your relentless effort to paint a picture of those who question the new Board in any way as being agenda driven is getting very tiring. Surely you're not that stupid are you ?

Gronk,

There are some here who question the board, and then there are the others who are agenda driven.

Yes there are both. But not all who question the board are agenda driven, which our mischievous Mickdo is trying to suggest.
