The report said there was a secret bank account. Flanagan said it was for the gym. They no evidence to prove that it was or wasn't. The account was named HPU (High Performance Unit) which is what the Sharks named the gym.

Cullen practically said the board wouldn't have had any idea about what was going with Dank at the club as they were kept out of the loop.

He also suggested that the players would have also been unaware.

He suggested that Elkin and Flanagan introduced the Peptides to the club and tolf them it was top secret. Some bloke who supplied Dank with the peptides has been discredited as being a bit of a rogue in the medical profession (not very thorough or accurate with dosages to children as a practitioner, had his medical licence revoked early this year).

Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.

If you read back it is pretty obvious we were on high alert and erring on the side of caution. But the ABC website has verified their own TV program.

Cronulla haters seem to be the lowest form of life in Rugby League.

If and when the Sharks get through this little episode, my guess is they are going to annoy these deadheads for a long time to come.

The account was only kept "secret" from an administrator placed in the club by the NRL. He was there for 3 months. Are you suggesting that Cullen should have had an active knowledge of every account, dormant or active, that was linked to the club and its associated entities?

Dank was not paid by the club but was paid by the HPU

IIRC that was the inference by the ABC report

Cullen himself said the payments were lodged with the NRL, but the preferred method of payment fell outside the salary cap regs.
