Johhnie wants to chop down a few old growth trees in Tassie without any form of scientific study. I'm with him 100% on this one. Multi-stemmed regrowth, with a breathtaking understory of lantana, privet, and scotch broom. That's the sort of forest I want to see. The fools in the electorate won't be able to tell the difference between it, and real old growth anyway.

I know, why don't the Libs say they're going to conserve 170, 000 hectares of unproductive forest in areas too steep to log? That'll give the impressions that they care about old growth, and jobs, whilst they send all the small sawmills broke in favor of large woodchip companies.
