Bullshit.

Winning is important & we know how to do that.

For & against is then inconsequential.

Some people are hard to please!
Yeah agree Cardy....have the cattle and depth to make the top 4 comfortably without f/a coming into the equation... faarrkk Wadeo added a new dimension in his cameo.

Spot on - that's the type of game we drop and lose normally. I bet a few weeks back if we beat Manly by a field goal, haters would be dancing in the summertime bar smashed on Powers Bitter, but a a fade out late against Parra and its p#ss poor, please....

That period where the Eels scored 3 tries started after we scored a couple of quick ones & blew a 3rd, allowing them to get some undeserved possession.

They had a lot of luck in that short period to make the score respectable.

Main thing is we got the last try, shows we didn’t truly clock off.

Bottom line, that game was a pleasure to watch for about 70 minutes... ... :flushed: ... ...

Anyway...

We scored 42 points!!!

Woo-hoo!!!

And could easily have score 4 or 5 more tries. Without our first choice, international 5/8.

I remember when we put 60 on the Knights, some journalist asked Flanno in the press conference about our ability to grind out a good win, and he smirked and said we ground out 60 points.

I wonder how long before we throw the mantle of being a grinding team (we had as many line breaks last year as any team).

A few more 40 point games should do it!

We should have put more than 40 on them. Parra were terrible. Why can’t Manly play like that when we play them?

Something must be pretty rotten in Team Camp Eels. I just saw that veteran Tim Mannah is seeking an immediate release from his contract. He is linked with the Tiges.

Thought that bloke bled blue and gold (or is it yellow)

For some reason I don’t think it was Johnny Mannah but rather Tim
