GAME DAY - Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs. Parramatta Eels

Offloads always destroy us and I have no idea why it’s not been addressed.

Our forwards off the bench are normally good but last night horrible. Missed Williams’ impact (even though I think even has been off his game last 2 weeks). Toby offers very little and BHU is clearly not match fit. Hunt wasn’t as bad as the rest but I wouldn’t have loved to have to seen Tuks there over Toby. Talakai back into the centres for a few weeks wouldn’t be a bad idea because I think Iro has been targeted and exposed. Needs a spell at Newtown.

McInnes was badly missed.

As others have said, the team has hit a flat spot and seems to be a mile off the pace.
The offloads are always a sign the Sharks contact and attention to detail are off.

This has been addressed in belting Canberra twice and Melbourne. Canberra normally rolls through our middle with offloads. They were stopped. Melbourne went the same approach and it usually works but the Sharks managed it.

No one is wrist slitting.

Just pointing out horrible play.

It was the same last week.

There are some on here who either have fear to criticise or only want to give pats on the back or at least the beer was good type of fans.

A lot of this shyte should’ve been cleaned up from last weeks mauling.

Too many players on cruise control in games.

Some players unfortunately can’t be dropped because there’s no one better to take their spot. But hopefully that changes sooner rather than later. Especially the protected species on this forum.

FFS this was against an Eels side who have capitulated in most of their games.
And I get told by you that I only put the boot in after a loss 🥾

I don't think you can suggest Rudolf and BHU have been near good enough to be in the NRL team over Hau Tapuha.
We played the Panthers and JFH and Leota killed us. Hazleton had 13 games and Tuks had 6. You can't win the big games without experienced props. BHU and Toby need to be fit and firing if we are to do anything is the lesson we learnt that night. There is no coincidence they were both rushed back vs the eels.

We just need both to play. Even last year they barely started together.

You’s have finally played 2 top sides in a row and got slaughtered both weeks

looking like straight sets again.
Funny that. mitch and Gutho look more like tennis Players and whinge and whine like tennis Players. When the heat is on and your aged forwards asked to lift just ONE MORE TIME They will all probably wish they were playing Tennis.

Probably lose there too. I mean when did they last win anything ? D.H.!

I mean don’t Parramatta currently have the longest gap between premierships.

Has anyone else had this wretched flu running through Sydney?
It started with me on Wednesday night, lucky for me I was too wrecked and asleep to watch the game, still haven't been able to.
It's a pretty fecked up virus this one. A whole heap of us (9 that I know of) got it from The Union Hotel in Newtown last Sunday, whoever the carrier was they've done a real good job in taking down the 'innocent'.

Frenzy.

Oh dear. This level of illiteracy saddens me. Are you OK? Would you like to be referred to a school?

I think so. I think I had it early as I'm only just back to work after 6 weeks off with pneumonia and gastroenteritis. They weren't able to find a cause of the pneumonia. Wasn't COVID, wasn't flu A. Only know I was sick as a dog and my blood panels were so screwed they thought I had clots in the old windbags. Didn't have them but the scans for that picked up the pneumonia.

Had 2 visits to hospital to get anti Bs and be rehydrated. Could have done that in one but the Sharks were playing so I signed myself out the first time only to be sent back the day after the 2nd Raiders game.

No idea how I got gastro, the quacks just think my immunity just got obsessed with the chest virus and secondary pneumonia

Everything you're saying there I've been ultra wary of.
It started off with major gastro, then the fevers, then the 'walrus-like' coughing, with more fevers.
I had pneumonia 24 years ago and it left a permanent inside scar that I can feel every time this type of thing comes on. I don't ever want to have that again.
I've got a friend dropping me off a heap of hydrolyte today because of the lack of fluid. I really can't drink water, its making me sick, I have been managing OJ but not for much longer.
This morning I couldn't even walk, everything just collapsed. I got myself to the kitchen and downed 2 x ibuprofen just so I lost some pain.
This monster is truly evil

My wife has been on and off since she was bedridden about 2 weeks ago. Spent better part of 3 days bedridden, not on the lounge drinking soup and Netflix, but full blown out of it. “What day is and why aren’t the kids at school” when it was Saturday. I’ve dodged it… so far.
Welcome to the start of winter. Wouldn’t wish the flu on anyone

Doctor took my off hydrolyte as I did the same. Recommended PowerAde Ion4. Not any other type, just that one because it has more electrolytes.

Evil is the mild description.

Oh and, watch out for cramps. Everywhere cramps. I was getting 50 or more a night. Calves, hammies, instep, toes, fingers, forearms, adbo, diaphragm, neck, shoulders. That's when I ended up having to get admitted, Electrolytes were totally fekked
