Nah it was sold out and locking fans out weeks in advance, don't you remember? No doubt you would have been one of the morons posting about it.

Souths better get 20k today.

C'mon Bunnies fans your team is actually going well.

No chance bunnies will top 20k today...

They only have about 13k fans who go to games and Newcastle aint bringing 7k with them

16000 will be considered a passmark today, the weather is great

Low 16000 just announced...

Not too bad for the bunnies, games coming up at home

St Geo and Tigers

Should get 30k plus to both of those

If anyone told you that Sths v Newc would outdraw Man v Parramatta...

You would have got a straight jacket ready for them,

ANZ although being fairly ordinary ground for NRL, does get you more people thru the gates.

Look at the doggies... 23k average this year... basically because of ANZ

I was thinking, would the warriors(due to plenty of kiwis living here) have the biggest ,as in widespread fan base around?
Plenty in Melb, plenty in Syd when they play, plenty on the GC.

Id say so

I know a couple of Sharks season ticket holders who wear their Warriors jerseys when the Warriors play at Shark Park

Comes with the territory

23k average because our club markets better, has a more active membership base... would be even higher if not for Parra and Souths getting the early season home games against us.

Agreed,,, but you couldnt do it at Belmore...

its awesome what the doggies have done over the past 5 years...

If Parra had actually had a proactive CEO with an idea what he was doing, we could be in the same ballpark.

Solid crowd considering it got more than the reigning premiers did against a local team.

16k is a good crowd to see an out of town cellar dweller team. I'd say noone in Sydney but Canterbury would have got better considering the bookies had us at about $1.20.

Ok crowd, you would hope on a nice Sunday afternoon that a game like that could pull more than a couple of thousand Knights fans and neutrals ina city of 4millbut comes back to the same old same old poor event experience and marketing. Thousand things to do on a Sunday afternoon, why should they go to the Footy?

I thought the crowd at ANZ actually looked bigger than 16,000.

I predicted 15k prior to the match, when I saw the crowd I thought it was about 18,000.

2 home games against Dragons and Tigers should see at least 25k to both.

Brookie is disturbingly small these days...

How did this ever happen

Record Crowd: 27655, Manly v Parramatta - 31/8/86

Pretty sure Brookie had a very different configuration back in those days. Plus you didn't have the fun police placing restrictions on the amount of people that could be let in.

I know this season the western stand has been extended so maybe this has reduced capacity a bit? All the crowds at Brookie this season have looked larger than the figure announced.

Tigers would have got 20K at Leichardt against them on a day like yesterday
