Tigers would have got 20K at Leichardt against them on a day like yesterday

True.

But only with the current ground sharing arrangement they have.

I wonder what their average would be if every home game was played at Leichhardt.

certainly not 20K ........

unlike some other Sydney clubs ...the Tigers have their home ground system almost down pat
they haven't lost touch with their suburban past ... yet know they can't remain there fully.. if they are to grow

theres some suggestion the SFS is not the ideal venue for their bigger games as most of their supporter base lives west of Leichardt not east ..
but they remain a very well run club ... & one that a few others could learn from.

Pretty sure Brookie had a very different configuration back in those days. Plus you didn't have the fun police placing restrictions on the amount of people that could be let in.

I know this season the western stand has been extended so maybe this has reduced capacity a bit? All the crowds at Brookie this season have looked larger than the figure announced.

a manly mate of mine said Brookie is down to an 18K capacity ATM as a result of said re developments

that would explain a lot

13,139 at Toyota Stadium for Sharks v Roosters. Solid effort for a freezing Monday night game after Origin.

We're now back even with season 2011 in terms of games played vs rounds played (128 games over 18 rounds each season).

After R18 2011: 2,078,375 average 16,237

After R18 2012: 2,087,730 average 16,310

Ahead still... going okay. Hopefully some big crowds this weekend keep us going.

R19 2011 netted 138,461, so we have that to beat.

Hope you're right with this one, but I'm doubting it....more 15k I reckon.

Hope I'm wrong.

Could go closer to 14k I reckon. I know of at least a few Pies/Cats fans who are planning to head to the Storm game beforehand. Dark Knight Rises promo might entice some families/nerds along too.

Been a good build up, plenty of talk around town. Disappointed if there's anything less than 30k... although the weather could put paid to that statement.

Huh? Conditions will be as perfect as they can be for July. Warm and clear.
The weather has nothing to do with it mate.
It's Parra's position on the table that will prevent a 30 000 crowd tonight.
