I don't know why anyone would dismiss Newcastle's crowds.

We've just posted our 5th highest crowd average ever and since the NRL has had 12 home games a year this is actually our 2nd best year for averages out of those years.

Not bad for a team which could end up in 12th place.

Newcastle is true league heartland. Just try putting an AFL team here .

Usually when timmah makes a goose of himself he either pretends it never happened, or picks some minute detail to argue about that is not even the point.

If you want to act like you know better than everyone...you better actually know better than everyone. Unfortunately SLR owned you!

You'd be right. He got it right, he has a better idea of Suncorp than I do.

Good glory hunting though, getting your shot in on the back of his ownage.

Fair play to SLR - he got it right and I got it wrong. Can't be much clearer there.

Saint Doc however,

Option b is see!

Laugh away - you're the one being outsmarted by Bunniesderp!

Ever thought maybe official releases have a reason to mislead?

Better crowd than i would have expected, not too bad all things considered. Hopefully they fix their prices up for next year so their crowds can start gworing again.

Looks like a pretty good crowd at ANZ actually. 25k+?

Leichardt can be deceiving but I would guess anywhere from 13-15k.

If the Roosters and the Storm win tonight then we have Canterbury v Souths at ANZ next Sunday...

so next week could be
Canterbury v Manly @ ANZ - 40k?
Melbourne v Souths @ AAMI - 25k
Cowboys v Broncos @ Dairy Farmers - 27k
Cronulla v Raiders @ SFS - 25k?

I'm hoping the dogs game can nudge 50K but that is completely unrealistic. Still one can hope.

I have a bad feeling that both the storm and sharks games will fall below those numbers. Do the sharks have to play at SFS week 1? If shark park holds 20K i think they will struggle to beat that elsewhere against the raiders.

Cowboys will sell out so the crowd will be whatever capacity is.

Shit that could sell out
ANZ

Yeah but it's not going to happen so might as well not worry about it.
