I'll be amzed (and highly impressed) if they get 15k tonight in this weather.

Hayne out doesn't help either.

Hopefully it clears and the Leichhardt game can be packed out. Roosters Souffs is another potential big crowd too.

Honestly with the weather the way it is, reduced parking around the area (Rotary field opposite the ground is CLOSED due to bogging)... I think Parramatta would be happy with anything over 10k

Yep, agreed. I'm guessing around 12000 for tonight, but anything above 10 k will be ok.
Weather is awful.

If it's dry in Auckland they could get 40k based on tickets sold.

Current forecast for Sunday in Auckland is Fine with Southerly winds (20 degrees high).

Saturday morning through to afternoon is when the sh!thouse weather is gonna hit the Nth Island (the "weather bomb", as the news are putting it, could they think of a more dramatic term for heavy rain and severe gales). Gonna be fun for me as I live on top of an exposed hill in Wellington, hopefully my windows don't blow out. That'd both suck and blow at the same time.

What was the pre-sales for Parra?? Given junior passes weren't accepted it must of been close to a sellout. It hasn't rained at Penrith since the end of the cricket. Hopefully it holds off & we get 17k + as expected.

Weather is humid as a merkin here in Tvl but it shouldn't rain today so fingers crossed for 18-20k tonight. The roads have been cut up near Ingham a few times this week due to the rain so the northerners might be a bit gun shy in heading down and it is forcasted to rain up that way pretty heavy today. I think it's time we get back to the 18k averages though, we've had that through the rubbish days and this squad we hae now is by far the strongest we've ever assembled.

yeah .. the cowboys are a top 4 side in my opinion & 18K tonight against a Titans side that will give plenty of cheek .. should be the minimum ... they really should get ova 20K

I fear for the turnout in Canberra if the rain we are predicted to get comes
at the moment its cloudy but dry ... but by early afternoon we are supposed to be getting up to 50mm throughout the evening
a sub 10K crowd is on the cards if this occurs :x

penrith is gunna be wet .. but how wet.. will determine the size of the crowd ... same as leichardt tomorrow

Eden Park looks like its gunna have a botler of a day ... 40K plus

& ANZ .. again ... wet
but lots of protection from the elements at hombush
so should still get ova 20K

It was raining lightly in Penrith earlier this morning but has stopped now, hopefully (but unlikely), it just remains overcast without the rain for the rest of the day.

As with Parramatta anything over 10 000 would be a good crowd considering the weather.

Are we comfortable with the headlines on Tuesday

"Nrl crowds down over 30 % in rd one "

with the QLD derby game not on in rnd one

it was always going to be down even with fine weather
but to counter balance the above headline

we should get

Nrl crowds UP 30% in rnd 2

BOM radar seems to be clearing around sydney, and forecast for penrith changed to rain, easing later. Might get away with it at Penrith then, but Canberra looks in for a drenching for the whole game.

Unbeleivable that this happens for the first round of the season.
