That honestly that's pretty poor from our fans today. We seem to do better with Friday and Saturday night games tbu must be a social thing? Pretty depressing game despite the result, 11k there flat atmosphere, hard to watch

Poor crowd - but it must have been the fact that it was an old fashioned stadium with a hill that was the problem .... oh wait it was at the SFS. :sarcasm:

Pretty poor turn out but come to be expected when we play the panthers. Don't know why but we simply never draw a crowd when we play penrith, despite the 2 teams having what is IMO a pretty decent rivalry.

Don't know what they can do about it. The club promotes the game as well as you can expect with cheap family tickets. Maybe free GA entry for panthers members or something? Might up the away fan numbers from a few hundred to a couple thousand. Better yet, have some sort of GA entry, beer and pie package for $30 bucks. That would get a few of the sunday drinkers in

The meltdown over the roosters crowd is quite amusing as usual.the game rarely gets over 10k, the panthers are rubbish, their fans dont travel and this is our 3rd home game on the trot with the others being dogs and dragons. I know which match ibwould miss if I could only go to 2 of those

As a proud Rooster who has defended our crowds on many occasions, today was really poor.

FFS we got 12k last year (also a Sunday Afternoon) and we were ordinary. Expected at least 15k...in saying that, seemed like more out there.

Can't defend today's turnout.

9465 for the Warriors/Titans in torrential rain and howling gale.

Only 2k more at Allianz on a sunny Sunday afternoon with two teams in winning form.

What's doing Roosters?

Not that I am defending the rosters crowd, but since when does a solitary tonking of the eels constitute winning from? They won one of their last six coming into it.

I have nfi why anyone is surprised. It is shit, yes but it is not like the Panthers are a big draw. The I mean, I we are shit at travelling but people hate so come to watch us get beat. Penrith are highly inoffensive and have a relatively small fan base. Unless they are contenders, I do not think anyone who does not support them is going to say "ooohh I gotta watch me some Panthers"

As has been said, scheduling a Sunday arvo game for the roosters is a massive waste when many other teams would do anything for one. I know it won't happen because of 9, but the broncos would get even bigger crowds if they played more Sundays.

No I just don't want to support a team that has no heart, From 2001 to 2008 i went to every game but the club changed in 2008 so since then i haven't been going as often

What happened in 2008?

Didn't like the change in the board for the club I'm guessing?
