I do not wish to get into the debate going on but this point is not true.

In the mid eighties the loyalty of most Brisbane RL fans lied with their BRL club, not a Sydney club. A large amount would not even have been interested in a Sydney club, let alone support them.

To suggest at the inclusion of the Broncos they dropped their BRL loyalties for a Sydney club is quite ridiculous.

This.

People love to forget the BRL was first grade in Brisbane for 80 years.

Not what you said.

"Every Brisbane Rugby League fan had supported a Sydney club".

Plainly a false assertion to back up your other arguments.

A huge amount, possibly even a majority had no loyalties to any Sydney club.

You're still missing the point. The point is that Brisbane still has opposition from the other clubs.

Brisbane rugby league fans converge for origin, not for the Broncos.

Everyone understands that not all Brisbane residents support the Donkeys but you have to understand that it is no different anywhere else. There are Parra fans in Narrabeen and Manly fans in Campbelltown. I'm not sure why you are making a big deal about it in Brisbane.

I understand that completely.

In Brisbane it just seems like there is so much cemented support with some other clubs.

That's not the only way to get there. There is uninterrupted suburbia between the CBD and Penrith as long as you get off the M4 around Mt Druitt or Minchinbury.

You said from George St to Centrebet Stadium. That is categorically wrong no matter what dodgy route you try to concoct.

No it isnt. I never said it had to be direct route. Just that there is uninterrupted suburbia driving from George Street to Centrebet. And there is, if you go the right way.

No there is not. I'm from Penrith. You're from f**king Coffs Harbour. I've driven from Penrith to Sydney and back more times than you've pretended to have sex. Everyone else from Penrith is saying the same thing I am.

I reckon about 11k tonight. Bad weather. Monday night. Nuff said.

Actually the Storm crowd has built up quite a bit very late. I reckon about 15k now.
Almost exactly in between my 2 guesses.

You might be from Penrith. Doesn't make you right. You can go via the suburbs just north of the M4 and it is uninterrupted.
