The fact that north end is full makes a pretty big difference

The Roosters don't tend to draw big crowds and the bulldogs are playing like garbage. There are only so many bulldog supporters willing to travel to watch sbw destroy them.

Why is 22,552 poor?

It's a good crowd for the Roosters.

On its own ok but given the hype and media Covg it isn't great. When you break it down it is probably only 14k Roosters fans and8k Bulldogs fans that turned out.

Mind you probably plenty of dogs fans who are glad they didn't bother!

funny how we get upset at a 22.5k crowd these days. back in my day, blah blah.

to be honest it looked about 25-27k on tv and i think that was a par crowd for the game nowadays anyway. so not that far off.

a centralised stadium and marketing policy will go a long way to making it 35k next time around.
