Perth Red, do you have an agenda against Sydney teams?
Not really, just enjoy winding some folk up and telling some home truths that many don't like to hear.
I travel to Sydney twice a year to watch games and if I had to live anywhere other than Perth it would be Sydney. It's a great city. I do have my doubts about some of the long term viabilities of some Sydney clubs and I am peeved that we can't have a team in Perth due to the inability of some heartland teams to be sustainable after 50-100 years but I have no hatred for Sydney or its teams.
Not jealous, just frustrated.
Being saying this for a long time, IMO it was becoming a nice tradition that got people through the gates and excited to start the season with a bang rather than a whimper (people from all over the state BTW). NRL doesn't seem to respect any kind of tradition though.
Your missing the point, I'm not jealous of Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or any other city with an NRL team, I'm frustrated that the potential to spread the game and have a successful NRL club in a New region can't be realised because heartland clubs that have had decades to get their sht together haven't and therefore the code doesn't feel in a strong enough position to expand. Anyways enough clogging the crowd thread, happy to continue the discussion in the expansion forum.
No locky. No interest from broncos fans.
and no passion as well
the self annoited capital of the rugby league world exposed as anything but
a shamful crowd last night ....
shamful
When was the last time a Sydney team drew 31k against a non nsw team?
Broncos should be doing better but compared to the 10-12k most Sydney teams draw as home fans they are hardly an embarrassment.
that too
but i meant shamful .. as in a sham ;-)
Broncos fans yes are crap at the moment. But Brisbane NRL fans no.
When it comes to selling out origins we FKN own you idiots down south. Winge and wine as much as you want, when we were in our shit period for origin, 03,04,05 (lets not remember 2000) We still sold our origins out in 4mins.
Yes your stadium has 31,000 more seats, but your city is over double ours.
We ARE the pinnicle of rugby league. We get way larger crowds to Kangaroo tests and as if you lot could get 40k for the Indigenous v all stars game.
These facts prove why broncos aside we are more supportive of league than Sydney.
