Brisbane fans suck. They just plain suck. I've seen fans suck before, but they are the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

The Reds posted over 30k the other night.

The Broncos crowd tonight looks at least 5k more than that.

i think 30 might be closer, there's a lot of spare real estate in there tonight.

where are all the people?

If they fall short of the 40,000 it will be the first time since 2008 (v Penrith) that they have failed to reach that mark in their opening home game of the season.

Broncos crowds have been dropping (slightly) for the past two seasons. One not so good crowd doesn't necessarily mean a disaster, but it will be interesting to see how they go crowd wise this season.

Hopefully, the Storm/Dragons/Cowboys games will make up for the Manly crowd. Provided the Broncos be consistently winning that be good throughout 2013.

Probably not exactly a coincidence that it is also the only time since 2008 that the Cowboys weren't the other team (and that Manly and Penrith don't draw).

Broncos hit 43k average crowds in 1993 and 35900 in 1995. They have never beaten either number since. Last year they had one mediocre year and it seems the wheels are off the bandwagon.

The Broncos as such a major statistical outlier affect our overall averages significantly. If they decline this season it will be a bad look for the whole comp.

In Brisbane there is now not only interest in League..

Roar doing ok.. And Reds actually drawing well.

Looks like 30-32k here at the stadium. Few heavy showers made the line up walk away.

Broncos sell their tickets differently to the reds. Reds sell out sections where as broncos have sections very patchy, 60 - 70% full where as reds target zones and make sure the sections are 85%+

Looking at the crowds for the Roar and it seems no-one watches them.

Consistantly playing on a Friday night doesnt help, Brisbane officials have stated this. A few more Sunday afternoon games would help bump them up a tad
