Next weekend predictions

Penrith v Parra @ Sportingbet - 19,000
Roosters v Raiders @ Allianz - 13,000
Cowboys v Storm @ 1300SM - 14,000
Warriors v Knights @ MSS - 17,000
Broncos v Manly @ Sunorp - 32,000
Rabbits v Saints @ ANZ - 21,000

unless it rains, Suncorp will be closer to 40k than 32k.

Imagine a Melbourne v Gold Coast :|

I'm really curious to see what they will do with the remaining tickets.

Whoever said there is 2,000 left could not be more wrong.

Exactly right. 2000, where did they get that figure from? I would say that's a blatant LIE. You can easily buy the maximum (6) across just about every category that's still available.

Last year 51,690 turned up and you could not buy a single ticket a few days before the game. Suncorp stadium has a capacity of 52,500 which would mean that 50,500 tickets would have already been sold, unlikely...

The Broncos Sunday games that I remember that were not special events like players retiring have been under 30k. One of those was against manly a few years ago when they got 26k from memory

Yeah they need to be against a foe for a 30plus. In 2010 there was a 42k v Dragons and 32k v Warriors.

Its pretty much just the continual attendees that want Sunday games.

But I thought brisbane broncos want sunday afternoons no matter the opponent its there 'desired' timeslot from fans and admin alike. Should be 30k plus, origin or not there should be enough league fans in Brisbane to go to both games and get great crowds. Though who skipped origin can go to broncos instead.

The Broncos will definitely suffer this Sunday after their fans were forced to top up their mortgages with these Origin ticket prices.

Ticket sales agree with you. Finally get a Sunday game and its after a $500 Wednesday night.

The Sunday game is aimed at young families, i doubt many young families attend origin anyway, regardless of the price.

I think a couple of those low drawing Sunday games also happened to fall on mothers day.

Looking forward to Johnny Morris's 300th tonite.
Nice to see Dave Smith gave him a video well done , and i hope the sharkies get out in numbers.
Shark's games always good value. Crowd should reach over 10 thousand.

Again the marketing and scheduling of this game is damm awful. I know they got rid of Mattisk, but surely more heads need to roll. A monday night game for a three-hundred clubber. That is bad planning.

You'd think broncos would make it a family day, special priced family ticket, stuff for the kids etc. they don't seem to be very creative with marketing.

News hasn't hit Peth yet....

Courier mail is thrashing a $60 family ticket for 4.

Unheard of for us Broncos peeps. Give us all $15 tickets and it will hit 40k, students will cream their draws.

Because angry loners only have to pay for themselves. Price is a much bigger factor when it comes to attracting families.

it's about establishing brand loyalty so in the future, when they are angry loners, they go to games.

ATM the commitment of a generation of broncos supporters isn't realised beyond the coach.
