Because Fitzgerald wanted to help the Union war chest by prepping the ground to world cup standards and halving the hills for little terraces.

I think it ended up holding some training sessions for the heavy weights from Namibia and Georgia.

Paul Osborne > Dennis Fitzgerald

God I've turned into Haynetrain......

I can remeber multiple and 19 and 20k+ attendances there since 2009

Original capacity of Parra Stadium was 33,000.

Edit: Should do my research first. Was originally 27,000, now 21,500, but being redeveloped to hold 24,000.

Eels going strong will benefit the big drawing games this season against the Bulldogs, West Tigers and potentially Souths if they move that game to ANZ also. Mixing Piretek and ANZ successfully will benefit Parra in the long run as there will be games they will exceed capacity of Piretek.

Campbelltown fans need to lift there game if they want to keep the 4 games a year they have.

Parramatta crowd was really good considering weather and back to back spoons. If they keep up this form it will only get better.

Maybe 9k at campbelltown. Most of their fan base just doesnt seem interested in attending there. Maybe a compromise could be made like turning the ground into a training facility like Redfern using it as a fulltime base. Then split games between leichardt oval and anz only, this would also simplify there ground situation and make it clear that south west sydney is the home of the franchise

It may upset the fans but if they can't be bothered to show up to watch the games at C'town than the club needs to reconsider how many games they play there.
