Yeah take it off them, it's not like the magpies side of the merger is paying the majority of the bills or anything.........

It's about the fans really and they vote with their feet. They might not have to fork up so much money for the bills either if they were getting better crowds.

Campbeltown could get 100 people to the game, you reckon their 2 leagues clubs would cop the club taking games away from there?

I hear what you are saying, I wanna see 16k plus crowds there every game but at the end of the day the black and white birds are paying the bills so they will play there regardless IMO.

The league's club with all the cash is at ashfield which is about 3 kms from Leichhardt oval so they wouldn't Care less about Campbelltown.

6,456 is the crowd according to Twitter. It's not the nicest night in Campbelltown but geez that is embarrassing.

'Heartland' sub 10k crowd strikes again. Owned Manly in empathic fashion in the rain yet no show next game. Eels vs WT next week should make up for this embarrassment since WT supporters skipped the Cowboys game. 40k should be the minimum.

Campbelltown fans need to lift there game if they want to keep the 4 games a year they have.
.

The people of Campbelltown need to keep turning out if they want to keep their 4 games a year there, let alone ONE!

It may upset the fans but if they can't be bothered to show up to watch the games at C'town than the club needs to reconsider how many games they play there.

May sound harsh for the Campbelltown folk, but if they can't be half-arsed to turn up, they don't deserve to have matches held there.

Yes, weather can affect crowds but no matter how hard you try to push that line, 6.5k for a first-grade match these days is disgraceful.

Why don't we play our main rivals until round 14,that's a missed chance of a 40k crowd,Eels and Doggies should have already played, kick the draw man out of the comp

Because Fitzgerald wanted to help the Union war chest by prepping the ground to world cup standards and halving the hills for little terraces.

I think it ended up holding some training sessions for the heavy weights from Namibia and Georgia.

Paul Osborne > Dennis Fitzgerald

God I've turned into Haynetrain......

Ah, Dennis Fitzgerald...there's a name I haven't heard for a while. Wasn't he the one who wanted the reserve grade comp scrapped 10 yrs ago or so, which led to the whole mess in the lower tier comps when the U20 NYC was introduced in 2008?

The record I think was 23k in 1993????

They lost about 4.5k in the hill being destroyed

27,243 Parramatta vs South Sydney in 1987

I don't know the answer, but perhaps clubs should only have one home ground, regardless if they are a merged team or not.

Terrible town at Wazntown, no rain out there either. Where have all the magpie fans gone??

Good crowd at Parra considering the weather, poor down at canberra but can you blame them watching a Ricky Stuart coached side???
