Not sure why you were pessimistic, the Ekka has always been a positive for Brisbane crowds.

There would be a fair few Saints supporters coming into to town from the bush also.

The low 20s pax a week ago was a bit of a worry. Im unsure of past Ekka attendance's maybe that night against the warriors (lockys 3rd last) 37k? For some reason im thinking that was a Saturday too.

If we are in the 8+ no Ekka this would be 40k.

Very poor at Gosford. The Central Coast is sending a loud and clear massage to the NRL. Keep taking them for granted and lose a massive part of NSW forever.

The worse the crowds for these sort of matches the more urgently the area needs a team. If the NRL wants fans on the central coast they must give them a team asap.

It's the NRL not the NSWRL, no more NSW teams it's already congested down there expansion wise WA/Brisbane 2 is the way to go. NSW teams have been given all the time in the world to get there house in order, it's time for other areas to get that same chance.

Seated now. Have forgotten how good daytime footy is. No level 7 on the Frank Burke side. Good smattering up top on the western side. Level five looks OK at the Caxton St end. Beer queue quiet up here at the Milton road end on five.

Could it be that the central coast has given up on the game all together?

Pretty shit for a dragons game.

Yeah, but both teams are having an ordinary year.

Phil Gould said at the beginning of the coverage that Brisbane loves Sunday afternoon footy (he says that about every team). If there was any truth in that statement then it would have been a full house today.
