Thats 3.5k more then what turned up in rnd 1 against the dogs. Disappointed with the Dragons crowd, have a nice venue which holds around 20k and the team is on fire and can only manage 14k, not a good effort and we had Dragon fans telling us all week that it will go close to a sell out.

Play these games on a Sunday afternoon and I think alot more would show up, weather permitting of course. As I keep saying, Sydney games should be played on Sunday afternoon as much as possible (this would involve 3 night games on Fri and Sat instead of current 5) and Sydney clubs should have plans to develop their grounds into decent 25,000 plus stadiums. They have started.

Seeing 15,000 at ANZ does the game no favours and just perpetuates a negative image.

In the context of Sydney RL crowds on a Sat night, 14k isn't terrible... we've had a few this week, and there will be far worse. But in ANZ it looks horrible. Watching on TV i was expecting a sub 10,000 crowd announcement. At least 14k at CUA, SFS etc fills most of the Eastern and Western stands

Great effort by the Kiwis. The Sydney crowds really need to pick up, they are being showed how to do it by those in the other cities.

How to do it is reduce Sydney to a one-team town. But then how many people would walk away from the game in disgust? Comparing Townsville, Brisbane, Newcastle, Auckland etc. is unfair for a number of reasons.
