I'm heading out very shortly taking the kids as well. Great weather.

Shame big Dell isn't playing, but hoping the Dragons win.

Looking forward to the Last Post.

Anyone know the Cowboys Sea eagles crowd?

It was about the 16.5k mark, which was a bit disappointing but considering how many defence members are up here, I can understand why a lot of people would have probably stayed at home and so forth.............I will admit I was a tad sloshed after a full day of festivities but still had a great time at the footy.:alcho:

I think our average for this season is about the 18-19k mark so it was a bit down on our standard but Manly aren't all the popular up here and as I was saying, the amount of ADF members up here on ANZAC day and so forth, whilst 16.5k is disappointing, it can be justified. I think if we manage to pull off a win in sydney next week, the Dragons game up here will be close to selling out. St George have a pretty big following in QLD, throw in the fact they are the best team in the comp by far at the moment, and us maybe starting to get it together, has the ingredients to be 25k crowd.

The silence during the Last Post last night was spine chilling. Other than a few babies crying which you cant do anything about, and 1 person "yeehaaing" at one point, you could hear a pin drop throughout the stadium during it. Was really good to see/hear the respect it deserves.
