We need to get sheltered stadiums so we don't have to use this excuse time and time again.

I watched a game of NFL a few months ago which was played in snow and sleet and the 80,000 seat stadium was packed. Their stadiums don't have any shelter, we need to toughen up.

Great idea champ, I'll pass the hat around next time I'm at Brookie.

Obviously every stadium can't get upgraded.

The point is something needs to be done. Every year we sit around whining about the cold and rain, well guess what it will be here next year and the year after and most likely 10 years after that.

Playing in a stadium with a roof and increasing ST holders is the only way to prevent this.

Edit:
I watched a game of NFL a few months ago which was played in snow and sleet and the 80,000 seat stadium was packed. Their stadiums don't have any shelter, we need to toughen up.

And i bet most of them already had their tickets. The higher demand to get into games means people are more likely to show up in bad conditions. That's why you need ST holders, if they have already paid they're more likely to turn up.

How good have the Warriors' crowds been this year?

15k is their lowest crowd thus far and the weather was miserable and they were coming off some poor form.

Who knows, good weather today and the could have got 18-20k.

yer Warriors crowds have been great, abysmal weather(looked like it was 9pm over there) and they've won something like 1 game in the last 5 or 6 games

crowd in Newie looks great as well.. probably 18-19k [edit: lol, already posted]

Healthy crowd in Auckland: 15,365 despite bad weather and Warriors not going so well.

half a dozen consecutive good seasons and they'll be the second biggest club in the game.

Lets see if they can do it :sarcasm:

Two excellent crowds for sure. Also proof positive that even two teams in average form playing each other in the pissing rain can still draw a great number.

Southern hill was full of Blue and White as was the northern end of the Joey stand. Well done to both sets of fans for a fantastic arvo of footy. How does it measure against the thunderstorm Broncos crowd?
