Ben Flower is out of contention for the Rhinos game with a toe injury.

Also there is no mention of the Crusaders v Rhinos on tv in Australia.

Well its on TV in NZ!!

Another 900 tickets sold yesterday, they have opened up another 300 seats. The club are expecting over 10,500 now!

Amazing if they get over 10,000 for the first game, but to me the key will how many will turn up to the next match and how many tickets were sold to Leeds fans?

As of yesterday, approx 7,400 pre sale tickets have been sold with Leeds snapping up only 500 of them. This is fromt he Crusaders website.

Mate I would go as far as saying NZ has the best coverage for Rugby League. We get all the Super League games that are televised, NRL, Toyota Cup, Auckland Rugby League, NZRL NPC....i even remember us getting the RLWC qualifier games here in NZ too.

It sucks that Fox do not put Super League on for Aussie...cant wait to watch the game. My head says Leeds will win by 30, by heart says it will be a close game!

An amazing feat when you take into account that the football club plays in the 5th division.

800 tickets left for sale!!! Will be interesting to see how much of the crowd are leeds fans...

From 606 BBC, doesn't sound like Leeds will be bringing too many fans. They had something like 500 a day ago.

In more great news, Crusaders RL have announced a new major sponsorship.

The five year deal will give them stability over that period and it is also higher than the Wrexham soccer team.

Hopefully they can get through the season getting several wins and being competitive so they can have a proper off season and sign better players. I really want them to succeed now to shove it in the faces of many people in the UK. Sure they had a shocking first season, but look at other teams in the Super League that are not exactly perfect!

Crusaders 18-16 Hull

Crusaders overcame a half-time deadlock to edge an important first home win against Hull, who dropped points for the first time this season.
A slow start from Hull gave Crusaders' wing Nick Youngquest the space to touchdown after 10 minutes.

Hull hit back with tries from prop Lee Radford and wing Tom Briscoe but six points from Michael Witt brought Crusaders level at the interval.
Younquest went over to snatch the win for the home side in the 68th minute.

Thrilled with the win, just 1 win from equalling the amount of wins from last season, should pass that this season.
