It is an abolsute farce that Pat was made to play this 3 day fixture concluding today at Hurstville oval and then play a Shield game starting at the MCG tomorrow.

Thats a possible 7 days straight of Cricket for a 17 Year Old Fast bowler, who also played a 45 Over Match on Sunday. So he had one day's break on Monday.

No wonder NSW Young quicks are getting injured all the time...

Henriques is a decent first class bowler to be fair, not a front liner but average of just over 30 isnt terrible.

But we are very reliant on Jaques and Hughes opening, and Clark and Copeland with the ball, because there is bugger all in between for this game. Missing
- Clarke Smith Bollinger Haddin Watson at the WC (plus Lee but he doesnt play shield)
- Katich Khawaja Maddinson Hauritz O'Keefe Cameron Starc Hazlewood to injury

NSW's been carrying Australian cricket for over 130 yrs and i don't expect much to change.

Plenty of NSW born players playing in other states as well

That is one hell of a list of players not available isn't it. Of the side listed to play Vic today only Copeland and maybe Clark would be half a chance of playing (Maybe Hughes, but not on form) if these guys were available.
