Cursed players

Ben Henry and Nate Roache, Ben retired at 24 I think because of constant injuries. Nate Roache too is
seemingly cursed poor guy, can't stay on the paddock for more than a couple of games at a time and now has another serious injury after being out all last year, unfortunately I can also see him succumbing to
an injury enforced retirement.

Anthony Cherrington suffered back to back ACL ruptures in the 2010 and 2011 preseasons which basically ended his NRL career.

Some might call them karma given his off field incidents.

Souths threw him a lifeline for some reason in 2017, but he didn’t do much

There was also that other Tigers winger with a similar injury as Yow Yeh. Tuiaki or similar name.
Yeah Taniela Tuiaki. Broke his ankle at the SFS the night Eels played Tigers during that late 09 season run. Was a cracking game of footy, Benji threw a magic behind the back pass to put his winger over, Hayne did that chip and chase where the ball bounced sideways back in to his hands to score.... Poor Taniela's career ending injury is overlooked from what happened that night.

From the 80s, David Woods. After Parra's golden era, every kid that showed anything was the next big thing. He was the only one that could have stood alongside Kenny, Ella etc but injuries never gave him a chance.

I thought Mathew Head was going to be our halfback for the next 10 seasons, unfortunately his knees kept giving out on him.

I remember in a game against the Wests Tigers he dropped the ball cold over the try line rumour has it his knees were so bad he couldn't reach all the way down to score the try.

Will Zillman was a shadow of the player he should have been after a couple of serious leg injuries early in his career. Lost all his speed and agility.

TLL is the most frequently injured player I ever saw . Should have been a staple rep player his whole career.
