Losing our best juniors - not good.

Hopefully it's just being responsible in terms of salary cap management.

Knowing the Tigers, they won't be.

Bummer about Ado-Carr. Hadn't seen much of him but what I did see I thought he would rip it up at centre in the next year or two...

yeah theres plenty who never make it.

we cant go whinging about losing juniors, when our best two young players are Dragons and Cowboys junior prospects etc

its just how the game goes.

I played with s bloke that was the best natural footy player in the world .
He was a crazy bastard
Strong yet quick and agile ... Great footy brain
Had it all

Dragons wanted him
He tried out and killed it
Then they wanted him to have another trial and he said nah you had your chance
Walked away
Probably in gaol now.

Just as you think you've come up with something witty, Uncle Sad comes along and dips the wick just that bit deeper.

Melbourne promoting him in their paper as a big signing for the future. Doubt anyone knows where this kid has gone.

He's confused.

He just wants to go to a Club that will play him at centre in First Grade and win a Grand Final next year.

Not much to ask for the poor kid.

Feature story on 7 news tonight was on Curtis Scott who was named player of the tournament in the national school boys championships! He was also named in the Australian Schoolboys team along with two other junior Sharks. Touted as the hottest signature and being chased by all clubs.
Aussie schoolboys play tomorrow, are the 3 sharks playing?

Well the question on all Shark supporters lips I have spoken to is, WTF did we let this kid go ? Was at the club on Saturday night and some people are fuming with certain aspects of the clubs retention policy.
Here we have a champion team, yet they let the captain go. Won't really go down well with the rest of the SG Ball team.

If injured Cameron Munster doesn't play in NRL round one the Melbourne Storm have a ready-made replacement in teenage sensation Curtis Scott.

Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy said Munster's knee injury is set to keep him out of their opening clash with St George Illawarra.

But Scott's impressive form through the pre-season and in the Auckland Nines means he could make a surprise appearance in their top side.

The 18-year-old joined Storm this season after the club won a fierce race for his signature on a three-year deal.

He captained Cronulla Sharks to the SG Ball premiership last year as well as playing for the Australian Schoolboys.

Munster was set to fill Kurt Mann's centre role after he departed for the Dragons, and Scott could now fill that role or play on the wing.

Bellamy said he had been impressed with his transition and described him as a tough kid and a fast learner.

He will have game time in their two trials - against Wests Tigers and Canterbury - which could decide whether he gets the nod.

"You'd probably think at the start of the pre-season he's probably a bit young (to start in round one) as he's only just turned 18 but the way he's handled the pre-season and the way he's handled the Nines, the next two weeks are pretty big weeks for him," Bellamy said.

"He's right in the reckoning to be quite honest, especially with a bit of doubt on Billy (Slater) and if Munster doesn't make round one Curtis is right in there with two or three other blokes."
