We wont know the squad though till season starts, since there is a fair bit of overlap between the squads this year, it just depends which blokes get the nod for 1st grade and which have to bide their time for the Cutters.

Not sure if Price will still be experimenting in the Charity Shield even...

I can see the coaching dream team of Mary & Basil in full swing by Origin if Sooper Coach doesnt have the boys hitting the ground running.

Actually - I think Mary has promise. Then again - I thought the same about Sooper Coach.

By that group. It would appear that we still have nice boy Creagh in the front row, out of position & season not even kicked off.
Or did you just think of him last.... that I could live with:crazy:

I feel that Creagh is at a stage in his career where he would be more effective at prop. Thompson and Frezell/Harrison to run wide.

So Creagh will have to mongrel up and lead the forwards from up front. I'm sure Craig Young will be able to help him adjust.

Creagh went fine in the front row when he was moved there last season.

Fully agree. Should go even better with Widdop and Williams/Stanley running the options as well. Any who doubts Creagh's effort for this club are dead set clowns.

Is the captain.
First picked, not last.
Get a grip, or loosen one, whichever is most applicable.

Don't doubt his effort or as a bloke and a clubman. Great guy.

But lacks the mongrel we need as a Front Rower.

Also think he went better when wasn't captain

I also believe his captaincy left a lot to be desired last year. But as he was thrust into the deep end without the likes of Young & Hornby (brains trust), and Cooper for most of the season. He really didn't have too much exp as a support network to help him out. I'm not going to judge the bloke with 1 season as Capt. with what would seem sub par structures around him.

There was one game last year where he was ubsolutely tremendous (newy@newy). He led from the front all night, and got stuck right into Scott and Jeza, laying the platform for arguably our best win last season, although that win over souffs was quiet sweet :D If we see more of that, rather than the mindless and embarrassing dribbling at the refs after each penalty conceded, then he will go along way as captain.
