You may have intended that, but it wasn't written that way mate.

Not so much your post, but the other afterwards accusing people of having "no class" etc. (on an internet forum no less) were just being wankers who knew nothing.

The footage was taken at half time.

If it was a family issue - you gotta give the guy a break. That said, unless we KNOW, you cant blame people for going off on a tangent - especially given his history of "loyalty".

It reminds me of the Robbie Farah off season comments by a journo on how he was unhappy was the club, with the usual tealeaf reading pointing to a breakdown with Benji/Sheens/whoever. Coming straight after their finals exit - it was destined to become classic LU cannon fodder. Then the story came out about his mother - and we all understood and cut him slack.

We have to understand there was family issues behind Boy's wail - doesnt mean we have to know what it was. Without that, all we have is footage of a one time gun fullback tearing up at halftime and being consoled by his human security blanket. What do you expect the reactions to be?

Thanks for that scoop.

Its Wayne that should be crying, he has to try and coach the pick.

I can picture it now:

Wayne: "Darius you ok? you look a bit below your best"

Darius: "Umm, yep..naa..yep...sweet...yep...naep" *Bursts out crying.

I promised to let him go play with his barbies after the game, and only after his chores were done.

Gotta teach these kids some respect

I think Newcastle will come good under Wayne. Until then maybe Tinkler should put some concrete in Dahrious powerade.

at least we can now confirm he gives 2 shits about what is going on out there. i much prefer to see this than him having a laugh in the sheds.

this is all something our team needs to go through. we'll come out the other side stronger and more focused. focus and discipline is coming very hard for us, particularly where ball control is concerned. no-one ever said it was going to be easy, least of all Wayne Bennett.

Maybe he's crying because all the "chippies" and "lollies" were all taken by Chris Houston and Wayne Bennet ptomised to buy him some more.

So I take it most people in this thread have never cried before for some reason or another? Hypocrites the lot of you. Football players aren't immune to showing emotion.

You don't cry at work, I would make it a sackable offence in most cases.

Fair point about caring, but is he caring cause your losing or he can't get his team mates to respect him?

Who knows what he is actually sooking about.

Sorry up with Creagh, Ennis, running backwards after pushing, hiding behind a player, crying at halftime.

Soft as.

FMD......i don`t believe i am going to say this.....but i agree with you here, i would much rather see a player wearing his heart on his sleeve for his club, rather than laughing it up when the team is playing shit

Good on Boyd for showing some passion for his club

I cry everytime I receive my pay packet and realise a guy playing sport is earning 10 times I do.

Just like getting hit in the balls, doesn't mean I have I can't have a laugh at someone else doing it.

Crying after a GF loss is somewhat understandle, after a club game though? Man up Darius. The Rosters players were probably baiting him or told him that Wayno has been cheating on him.

I don't think it was crying after just the solitary loss, something tells me it's been building up slowly since the season started. Even though 4/9 isn't terrible we've mostly been playing terrible. It must be extremely frustrating for someone who obviously expects a lot better, of himself and his teammates.

BTW some of the attempts at making humour out of this are embarrassing. Not because it's not fair game, but because they're just rubbish. Pick up your game lads, there's only so many times you can read about Wayne being his dad.
