Just giving him ammo and re-inforcing a stereotype/further damaging the perception of League fans. As long as you're having fun though.

Yeah by pointing out his bullshit, people are giving him "more ammo"?

You're nearly as f**ked in the head as BunniesMan.

Are the Bra Boy's proper nutters and do they like Rugby League.

The area of Maroubra that the Bra Boys come from is a housing commission area (not council estate per se - more an area where there is a certain amountof government funded housing in an area that also has private ownership). As such they tend to be lower on the socio economic scale than the rest of the areas residents.

The Bra Boys became notorious in Sydney's Eastern Beach suburbs (which are generally affluent and not known for random acts of violence) because they didn't take kindly to people surfing on the part of the beach they considered theirs.

If you were a good surfer, then you were generally left alone. But if you got in their way when they surfed they wouldnt be too kind about it.

Yes fists were thrown and bad language used. Yes they tend to be unemployed and get in trouble with the Police. Yes they tend to have a lower level of education than other people in the surrounding area.

However, I would think there are more scary people on any estate in Newcastle or even Darlington or Pontefract.

meh... so the guy who wrote it is from carsguide or carsales.com.au or wherever..

At the end of the day, he's just a glorified used car salesman..

And who ever believes what they say anyway?

Some snippets from Pottingers email:
"Actually I’ve been “hired” as a journalist for 25 years by The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian , The Sundav Telegraph and The Daily Telegraph so let us assume I know a bit more about than you."
He can't construct a sentence properly after 25 years lol.

"So what if the game once thrived in France"
Don't let facts get in the way of good bullshit story

"Some 80 per cent of registered rugby players volunteered at the outset of World War I. Given that Australia suffered more casualties proportionally than any other country, it’s plain to see why the QRL was at a loss to reform"
The QRL wasn't at a loss, the QRU may have been. This dope is confused now between his old lies and his new lies.

"If there was no grand final per se in 1915, then the NSWRL records are to blame for my insignificant error"
The NSWRL records state categorically that 1915 there were no finals and the premier was 'first past the post' It's quite significant because its a blatant lie.

"I'm not interested in changing anyone's opinion, merely in expressing my own"
Followed by
"Interestingly, of the 264 online responses to my piece in Sydney and the almost 80 on the Courier-Mail site, some 70 per cent were in my "favour","
He's referring to published comments and not counting those not published.

he then tried a condescending piece of shit with big words to try and sound like some sort of educated person.

I'm enjoying this lol

Still going here too, now he's bragging that he's contemplating going to St Tropez to test drive a new Porsche. Amazing how many Union fans have that superority complex.

I told him that if I were pretending to do something like that, I'd pretend to be going to test drive a Bugatti Veyron not a bloody Porsche...

What makes you think he's lying? Those car jurno's regularly get flown in for test drive launch day functions.

Another reply... lol

"Nothing complex about my superiority, mate."

Gawd, what a twerp.

My reply;

Whatever you have to tell yourself you cheeky little tyke. I'm assuming that you're a young fella just starting out because you work for The Daily Telegraph whose actual "journos" are the nadir of the Journalism profession in this country. They are to journalism what turd sandwiches are to lunch. Yet every single "journo" at the bottom of the journalistic well that is the Daily Telegraph is superior to you in your chosen career path. That can't be easy to accept for a grown man.

If you're not just out of Uni your superiority complex is about as unjustified as is possible...

Deputy editor of Carsguide would look fine on the CV of a 25 year old, but if you're over 40?
