There is a difference between not knowing the difference, and not doing it ;-)
Similar to your/you're.

But yeah, I would be happy with Stagg at 13 for QLD, or even Parker.

If you know it, I dont see how you could possibly consider using "his" in place of "he's", they are two completely different meanings (not to mention a completely different pronounciation unlike the "your" example).

Anyway, back on topic, best of luck to DJ. He's achieved triple in his short time in the NRL than a lot of superstars entire careers.

Good on him. Live in the beautiful south of France, anonymous profile, travel all around Europe while playing rugby league at a second rate level for double the money.

He'd be noticed more in Perpignan than Melbourne. Sad to see him go but he's off to a great club and I wish him the best!

Easily the most ineffectual attacking player I have ever seen rep for Australia.

Thats all you got.

Put his body on the line game after game for Club, state and country. One of the purest tacklers the game has seen, which frankly your piss-poor team could do with, and all you can add is something negative.

Thats weak Manu.

I've been watching great league players represent the Kangaroos for 20 years. Johnson's lack of attacking talent in that company stands out like a sore thumb.

Michael Luck plays for my team, makes more tackles than Johnson and puts his body on the line non-stop, and imo he is lucky to be in first grade.

I don't have any beef with Johnson, but his lack of talent stood out to me from a mile away when compared to basically every other player I've seen reach the top in the game.

I keep hearing how players like Johnson are apparently so crucial to a team's success, yet in all honesty I can hardly think of any other players I've ever seen (certainly not at rep level) as spectacularly unthreatening with ball in hand.

No-one ever compared him to any great players, but he was a great clubman who done a magnificent job for us

Everyone knows he is average with the ball but the thing your not seeing is that DJ makes solid 1 on 1 tackles, leaves less holes in the d-line, which meanss you let in less tries.

That right there is the beauty of DJ.

Luck, and hindmarsh for that matter, may make alot of tackles but they often require one or 2 more to finish them off.

You wouldn't be talking that sort of rubbish if he'd just put you on your arse! ;-)

I wouldn't be crying about spelling errors if I were you...
You can't grasp simple punctuation.

Sorry Shorty, but im not trying to type an essay. I dont even mind spelling mistakes, or even people who get mixed up with your and you're but he's and his are 2 totally different words that even sound different.

I don't usually make a habit of agreeing with you, but you're absolutely spot on here.

In attack, having DJ in your side is like playing with 12 men.

There is a reason why the Storm centre third is at times close to impenetrable.

Wait till SOO next year, he isnt that great in attack but that is only 50% of the game.

He is the best lock in a time where there aren't many great locks, since Ben Kennedy has gone.

Who is the premier lock in the game now? Tongue? Gallen? Lewis?

Yeah you're right, and it annoys me also.
There, their and they're, that's the worst.

But yeah.
In terms of Dallas Johnston, Manu, you just don't get it ok.
Unless you were a fan of the teams he was playing for, so really Melbourne and Queensland, you don't understand his worth to a team.

Simple as that, his tackling is going to be sorely missed.

how hard is it to differentiate between he's and his? this bugs me so much!! like 50% of people on this website can't tell the difference between the 2!

anyways, welcome to the QLD #13, David Stagg.

I wouldnt be suprised to see N.Costigan get the #13 if he starts the season well.

Yeah but in defence, having DJ in your side is like playing with 14 men. Melbournes defence will suffer next year as a result.

How does he travel all around Europe whilst playing.. Seems like a myth to me.. Basically Monday to Friday they would be training most if not every day of the week then on weekends either travel to the North of England to play or a home game.. When is all this travelling going to take place? In the off-season? You can do that playing in the NRL.
