Didnt Thurston get 3 points in a losing team in 05. Tell you what the Dally M's have about as much credability as the logies now days.

Too true, with 'experts' the ilk of Ray Chesterton giving out the points. The whole system is flawed. I think it was Buderus that said the highest individual honour nowadays is the players player.

Do they have a league wide players player? Or is it just the RLW poll?

And man, I've never seen a guy look so gutted at an award show. Farah looked devastated, borderline breaking down kind of stuff. It's a shame he comes across as such a prick, otherwise I'd feel worse for him.

I knew Thurston would get it :D

Big fat LOL @ Roberts being nominated... Why not just vote David Howell for fullback of the year and Tighe for Centre while theyre at it?

He probably convinced himself that he had won it.

We're talking about Johnathan Thurston, not Steve Price or Petero Civoneceva.

Thurston did absolute squat during Origin this year and most QLD fans would agree.

To be honest, Farah talked himself down and made very humble comments throughout the WHOLE night. I don't see how anything he said makes him a prick.

If you're going to look at body language then that makes Brohman and Bailey pricks too.
