ummm Penrith played really really well? Anybody? They would have beaten most if not all teams tonight, with that standard of refereeing around the ruck.

Guess our players were too busy watching Val Holmes playing NFL instead of preparing for the game.

Amateurs. Hope Chad has a long hard think about his game tonight. How many times will it take for him to realise that the stupid chip over the top won’t ever work? Especially when it’s 14-4 a minute out from half time and the other team goes on to score a crucial try? What an absolute fool.

Townsend out played by Cogger against the Bulldogs.

Turpin against the Broncos.

And now the 18 year old kid from Penrith tonight.

That’s why everyone is pissed off.

It’s not a once off.

The guy is bog average.
Shhh be vewy vewy quiet

I’m off to learn how play the ukalele and play “somewhere over the rainbow”
That might bring some calm to my post game depression

He is delusional. Thought the second half was good. Not steaming. A bit of fire would not have been out of place.

That’s very disappointing.

Flanno would have been steaming.

Chad would have been hooked.

Maybe Morris isn’t up to the job after all.

When you set the bar that low and are happy the Club will achieve nothing.

Back to the bad old days of accepting mediocrity and being satisfied by it.

Wow a lot to take in early morning, post game re-tread of the thread.
Love the enthusiasm of the forum but yeah some of the banter borders again on crazy, emotional machine gun posts is one thing but some comments...,anyway.
Watched the game and yeah it was a was a train wreck....but not surprising.
Out enthused, our played, didn’t really get run of green at time and sapped of any go forward from being strong armed most of the game. Simple as that.
The fact they came knocking on the door of getting back in the game is hard to believe really, but probably shows how if given a roll on they have the ability to fire.
Just like most weeks too many errors, penalties and too many Chad Townsend moments. I’m the first to bag him, and have been shouted down before for bagging him. He was rank but I wasn’t surprised, maybe just become immune to his crap.
Roll on dragons

Prior is busted, let the Eels have him. Fifita needs to get his knee sorted out - if he needs a reconstruction, get it done. The sight of him limping around is just a joke. He got angry for one big run towards the end and then inflamed whatever injury he is carrying - if players are injured, don't pick them until they recover. Period.

Also Capewell kept on the bench until the last 15 - WTF - should have come on for Gallen earlier in the game when we were constantly defending in the first half.

The forwards are an issue - new blood required stat. Agree on Capewell - bloke has been firing but leave him till late in the game, I reckon they could have hooked chad and brought him on and he would have provided more.

Agree. Gal looked tired and was being handled well. I thought Capewell would have presented the defence with something different to handle. Onwards to 2020.
