Dan Hunt - why the hate

Question is :

Can he come back and return to his old fierce best

Or is it because of his injury ridden past

Ofcourse he can.

But it's no secret that to get back to his best it takes hard work, commitment and most importantly....... a good coach.

Dan should have moved on to another club that would have handled his injury correctly and allowed him to regain his fitness.

Craig Young is by far the worst forwards coach I have ever seen how on earth can a guy of high standing be so bad every forward has gone backwards and lost confidence.

The sooner he is moved on along with Price the better.

Probability questionable.
Personally I like Dan, but at the minute he would struggle to play first grade at any club.

I don't think any of us on here really hate Dan, because you shouldn't hate anyone that is one of your own and tries week in week out....but the cold hard facts are Hunt like Price imo are not of 1st Grade standard...

Was always in my mind a solid bench player, never a starting forward.
Mainly ineffective work on the field , and to top it off doust refers to him as one of our marquee players which indicates to me he is probably chewing up more of our salary cap then what a prop should be, let alone an average one at that.

He calls the Dragons a brand what a brand of shoes like Nike serious its a football club its not like the NBA.

Wouldn't say hate... But he's just hopeless. Cream puff. Not a hard nut. His stats after the first half were a disgrace. 3 runs for 19 metres. Pathetic. Says it all.

Yar he seems like a lovely bloke, supposed to be a real funny man amongst the team (which is valuable), had that interesting segment with Beay Ryan lol..

But as a player.. it was a ridiculous long term re-signing (and says so much about whats wrong with our club).. he doesnt have the size or mongrel for NRL footy.

Does not bend the line ever no offload ,No Mongrel, would be our most ineffective forward .

This + he is grossly overpaid...we need a cleanout..Hunt/Harrison/Groat etc...too many B Grade players.

I don't mind Hunt, even from a football perspective but at the end of the day he's a senior player, one of our highest paid forwards and is not playing like one
