When my daughter was two and a half she decided to "help" mummy and daddy by "cleaning" the TV. She proceeded to hit the TV with a toy broom. This completely destroyed the flat panel and rendered it utterly beyond repair. Remember this was a two and a half year old tapping it with a plastic toy. It just doesn't take much effort at all to wreck a modern TV. Throwing a glass, even half heartedly at it probably would have done the job.

Think you'll find there are more 'for' than 'against' Boyd. Easier to stick up for the bloke than stick it up him because very few people have a f**king clue, only those with mirrors that tell fibs continue to piss their pants about something they know sfa about

I know a lad from Newcastle, educated, intelligent, married to a wonderful girl, in a good job and with a son etc basically a good life with loads to look forward to and then he had a mental breakdown. Depression basically destroyed his life. He couldn't hold down his job, he went into rehab long term, his marriage fell apart and he couldn't work out how to get going again.

A vibrant wonderful person had his life completely f**ked and no one could work out what the f**k caused it. How the f**k do you begin to understand something like depression and how it can effect peoples lives?

I can't "judge" Darius and I'm not going to start making accusations. I've seen what mental health problems can do and the one thing I know for certain is I just don't understand them or what motivates people who have them. To pretend otherwise is utter folly.

I see the odd post talking about how soft people are. Men used to (still do in disproportionately high numbers but it's been falling over the last 50 or so years) just kill themselves. I don't think seeking help is soft and it's better than the alternative.

The good thing out of this and other similiar situations is A) the player gets help before topping himself or someone else and B) it raises mental health issues to normally dmb people who think blokes should just toughen up and get on with it.
