Great thread. Lol at all the karma talk like it has anything to do with it.

I doubt there's many who want to see a playèr get seriously injured, I'd say the majority of posts are directed at the club/fan base.

The point is, I think Shaun Johnson is overrated and I know for a certainty that Boyd is a better fullback than Barba, it would be horrendous to imagine I'd want either to snap an Achilles . . . not even Matai ffs

Look, nobody wanted Boyd to snap his achillies. If that's the line you're gonna try and go with you can stop right now. However, after the way he consistently f**ked over the Knights with such little regard, the way Bennett ran for the hills the moment things got tough and threw his players under the bus in the process, the way so many players were shown the door at the Broncs to accommodate the brat, and the way a lot of Broncos supporters have been carrying on here...yep, him being out for a long period of time is karma to the Broncos, and not gonna lie, I find the funny side to it.

Everyone at work had an extra spring in their step when we heard this great news. Great to hear that this pathetic excuse of a human has been injured after crawling back to this now pathetic club.

Let's hope your yearly contribution stays at the same level of your attitude

Tough blow for all involved and honestly wish Boyd well in his recovery.

Really surprised with the behaviour of some on here. Rejoicing over somebody's injury is really the lowest of the low.

Rorting the salary cap low?

Derail is a strong word, but losing a $400k first choice FB hurts any team and their plans. It's going to change Wayne's plans without doubt. Plan B is never as good as plan A. That's why it's plan B.

Well, that's what happened at Newy last season. Darius left and the team went on a massive winning run. Maybe??

Tis an interesting question isn't it. Just what is the lower act?

Hit us with your thoughts forumites.

From worst to not so bad;

1. Poaching
2. Injury prone player accepting a contract and sweating on the first opportunity to sit down
3. Players taking twice as much money and not doing twice as much work as the bloke beside him
4. Getting CAUGHT rorting the cap

No one wants to see a football player injured. Darius hasn't actually played footy in 3 years, so not sure he qualifies.

What do you honestly expect people to say?

'Oh no, you were totally in the right for laughing about somebody's unfortunate career debilitating injury, karma all the way brah'

I'm surprised by the response to this news. I thought some people had more respect, that's all.

I never mentioned Karma, your ignorance level is reaching an all time high.

Nah, the injury itself is hilarious as well.

I wish I was there to hear the snap, & bottle Darius' tears as he lay there in agony.

And when he gets surgery I hope he gets an infection, some sort of flesh eating virus, & he dies a slow, painful, bloodcurdling, excruciating death. And when the Bronco players come visit him they get infected as well, & they all die a slow, painful, bloodcurdling, excruciating death. Then it spreads throughout all of Brisbane, & the entire population dies a slow, painful, bloodcurdling, excruciating death.

Karma.

If it were a Roosters or Storm star, would the Broncos fans be acting so precious? If ironic humour is a crime, then ban the Simpsons and Monty Python.
