and they felt that a farewell lap in the style of Tigers greats such as Wayne Pearce was over the top.

He was given a farewell which he derserved and it was evident by the amount of people who stayed back and applauded him off the park that they agreed with the clubs decision to allow Senter to have a farewell lap!!!!!

Do you think Senter is in the same league as Wayne Pearce?

No I don't and I'm sure all the people that stayed back wouldn't think that either but its clear they all agreed that he did deserve a lap of honour in which any clubman would deserve otherwise why stay for 20minutes after the game??? Why stand and applaud him????

I just think its funny that a player can play over 100 games as captain for the club you support but you still think he shouldn't be able to have a lap of honour - where as a player like buckets who hasn't been captain for even 10% of that time or Sattler who has only been at the club for just under 12mths you wouldn't have a problem with them having a lap of honour

We've been over this - I can't stand Senter -you love him - it's a matter of personal opinion and both of us are entitled to it.

Please show me where I said either of these players deserve a lap of honour. The point I was making is that neither of these players is a dirty player and other players respect them for it.

IMO - laps of honour should be reserved for club greats - like Pearce, Sirro etc etc.

Not for cheap shot merchants.

I'm seriously astounded that anyone who calls themselves a Wests Tigers supporter would deny Darren Senter a fitting lap of honour farewell and send off.

Calling Senter a "cheap shot merchant" just proves that you prefer to blindly listen to the media and others than watch the game and for opinions yourself.

Can you name/pin point any Senter "cheap shots"? Who would you count as the "fairest" NRL player? Johns? He has a head slamming black mark against his name. would you deny him a farewell if he played for the Tigers?

Grow up, like we care what other clubs think

Go back under the rock you crawled from.

What you can't say anything negative about the weekend cause we didnt play so you drag back up? Seriously mate, stop posting here.

Eat me, fool.

Your infantile response to this post shows you have nothing worthwhile to say. This states exactly what myself and others were saying - and you can't handle it.

Don't try and hide your lack of intelligence behind insults - we can quite clearly see your rank stupidity for what it is.

Should I even bother pointing out your hypocrisy?

Ive said everything I have to say in earlier posts.

There's no point arguing with you as noone is going to change your point of view on the Senter thing or your negative outlook on life.

I can't believe that anyone would begrudge any team's captian, who has been with the same team for 10 years a lap of honour :!: The guy has put in for both Balmain and the Wests Tigers for 10 years! How many other players give 10 years to first grade? As for cheap shot specialist

I've said it before, and I'll re-iterate - Thanks for the loyalty, Daz, and goo dluck for the future!

Wrighty, I think you're on the money ;-) Other clubs fans are just peed that they don't have a 10 year performer leading their teamarouond the park week in, week out.

Well we know who was in the majority on Sunday afternoon with the lap of honour.

Seriously who cares about people, clubs who dont like him, and do you think Darrne Senter cares, No

He got a great farwell on and off the pitch and no one can take that away from him no matter how much they sulk, bitch and moan.

And Mescia...remember back to 2002 Campbeltown game??? Both were great clubmen who didn't acheive remarkable feats in the representive arena although their loyal service warrants such a farwell.
