What I said was that he has done a much better job than you have given him credit for, and that in the face of a club that disintegrated off the field I think we can excuse him for not winning us a competition. I took exception to the implication that he is at fault for our failings on the field given the situation he has found himself in.

You need help if you think Gutherson would have done anything against the Cowboys tonight. They are a strong defensive side, unlike the Warriors, plus they had all the ball. Gutherson's defence made our right side respectable.

Make whatever excuses you want I don't care who played for them or who played for us, some of the tries we let in and have let in this year are f**king disgraceful, they literally walked over the line.

Until that is fixed, we can have whoever we want but we will never get close to any decent team.

And to the ones who say we have a favourable run home and we're going okay considering our injury toll, shut up honestly shut up. We haven't come close to any team that is half decent yet those on here will sit here and spew they're bullshit propaganda about how this player has some LBA's and the tackles they made and the metres they made, who cares, the stats that matter are the ones that are not in our favour we are 9th and do not even look close to a semi finals team. If everything was going so well we would be much further up the later.

Mate everyone's been putting shit on Norman. The reason you're angry is because nobody (including the coach) agrees with your particular scapegoat. In the 3-2-1 thread everyone gave French points.

For the record I think the following guys were poor (in no particular order):
Takairangi
Norman
Matagi

But that doesn't mean I think they need TO GET DROPPED IMMEDIATELY THEY ARE NOT FIRST GRADERS ARSEHOLES!!!!! I expect Matagi to be replaced by Vave, and I hope (though I'm not confident) that Takairangi gets rissoled for Jennings. I think Davis can become a first grader. His go forward was good, but he lacks experience on the wing.

You are using excuses as much as the people with differing opinions to you are. In fact I have excuses too, they are just better than yours. We need to fix our discipline, we are continually giving away penalties that are giving the opposition better field position and more possession. We need to complete at a higher rate because errors are giving the opposition better field position and more possession. We need to improve our kicking game as at the moment we are giving the opposition better field position. Tonight we needed to attack more direct and less side to side. The scoreboard suggests our defence was poor but if we get better field position and more possession by fixing the above mentioned issues then statistically (as in points allowed) our defence will improve. I would suggest that these issues are the entire teams (playing and coaching staff) issues and not the fault of the weekly scapegoats that are singled out

We have completed at stages, kicked well in stages, we have had better field position at stages all throughout this year and yet we still have conceded soft tries almost every week.

Sugarcoat it all you like, a lot more needs to be addressed in regards to defence then what you have mentioned.
