I'd rather Gutho defending at centre than Taka.
Remember we've been found out on the edges way too often this year. Having Taka there may be fine in attack but hurts us in defence. With Gutho we lose no attack, but we strengthen our defence.

This. Our best five backs are French, Semi, Jennings, Guth, Hoff. So you fit them into the backline any way you can IMO. If anything I reckon Gutho is a better attacker than Taka.

It's a shame that he's the odd man out, because he really does bring something different to the side.

He can't play hooker because his shoulders are too big for his knees.

I don't actually think there's necessarily any difference between a player wearing 8 and one wearing 17. They are usually both middle forwards.
