Yeah it seems like a dumb idea to me. I hope they do it.

The only way he doesn't play 80 is if the game is a pumping (by either side). If it's close, he'll stay out there (assuming he plays at all).

IMO, if they don't think he'll get through 80, they would be more likely start him on the bench. That way if he's not needed, he doesn't play at all. Given the forward pack the Cows have, they could easily run with a 3 man bench.

quite probable, but not guaranteed.

hopefully meaning i personally prefer taka in centres and guth at fullback. that's my opinion.

I'd rather Gutho defending at centre than Taka.
Remember we've been found out on the edges way too often this year. Having Taka there may be fine in attack but hurts us in defence. With Gutho we lose no attack, but we strengthen our defence.
