Former lead guitarist of Metallica, then he was kicked out before the first Album was released and was replace by Kirk Hammet.
Now rhythm and lead guitarist and singer of Megadeth.

Big fan of Megadeth.

Classic riffs, some great albums and unlike Metallica they never turned completely crap. Had a fw albums that were less than brilliant but have also hit back afterwards with a strong release.

It always amuses me when I hear people say say you can't be a Metallica fan and a Megadeth fan. I'm a big fan of both.

As for the poll question, Mustaine is a champion, I love the bloke!

Megadeth have some bloody awesome songs and Rust In Peace would have to be one of my favourite all time albums.

Cant wait for the new one, United Abominations.

He still cries about the whole Metallica thing but asided from that he is pretty much unremarkable.

I always thought Marty Friedman was the lead guitarist in Megadeth?

Did anyone go to Gigantour this year? I heard Megadeth kicked arse. They were great last year at the roundhouse.

I liked him when he was an alcoholic smackhead and an unapologetic merkin (ie on the first 3 albums) but themn he cleaned up and turned into a boring whinging sook. Still wrote some great songs though.

Yup I was at Gigantour, they were awesome, just wasnt long enough.

Arch Enemy were great as well!
