That's entirely incorrect. If it can be proved, through emails or other that he has agreed to terms, he is bound by law to that agreement.
Before you mention Turner or Inglis, both parties in thoses cases (ie Titans and Broncos respectively) chose to not hold each player to their agreement. They had every right however, to enforce those contracts.
You don't have to put pen to paper to be bound to a contract.
Where does this put the Luke Lewis situation with Souffs in 2008?
