How in the hell did we go from a BS article saying SF was being sniffed around, to a conspiracy theory that DY is plotting against him. I know we lay the boot in when things go bad defensively for us and on occasions rightly so, but this plotting rubbish is just next level. I'll take it from VH that he was more than happy to have DY at the Dragons. Yes like the rest of us I want to see a lot more defensive improvement next year and I'll be criticising him pretty closely on that, but that is all.

What are you babbling on about?

Laying the boot in lol just because I disagree on certain issues is hardly laying the boot in.

Subjective on other forums lol I take it you don’t like Ryles so any posts wishing him well is obviously taboo for you.
Apologies mate. Thought you were talking about Flanagan not Daley

All good thanks for re-reading the post

Regardless of what some posters insinuate I am not that big bad anti S F guy.

I simply hold him up for scrutiny and challenge things that I think should be challenged.

You and a few others might not be aware but I even gave it to Bennett for the shit show collapse in 2011 whilst some just kept thinking 2010 made it all forgivable.

Others were rolling in the grass rejoicing i considered we rolled in dog shit we should have gone back to back no iffs no butts but some considered it was Dosust’s fault and Bennett could do no wrong. Plain and simple Bennett had a job to do regardless of the BOD and in the end of 2011 he failed.

TBH I don’t think S F is getting any more or less scrutiny from me than others have and in respect of the style of footy we play as a team I haven’t liked anyone as much as I liked Browny despite his failure to win a comp with what he had.

Agree, Bennett set the club back a fair way. He has that effect everywhere he goes

Watching Ryles play at Saints was annoying as he was a great player but very emotional. Teams would easily bait him and he would blow his stack and get binned way to many times. It will be interesting to see how he goes if Parra go through some bad periods. He may do a Browny and slap a player or 2.
Yes- Ryles was certainly no saint even though he played for St George and caused me to groan and curse his very existence frequently. However, the evidence suggests that, if anything, there is an inverse correlation between playing ability and coaching ability. Jack Gibson, Bennett, Bellamy and Robinson, were all average players at best who went to become great head coaches. IMO, only time will tell about Ryles.

Young may be a chance for the PNG coaching job. Wasn't he assistant to Flanno for the PNG team a couple of years ago. The Origin job may give him the edge when it comes to his resume.
