Inu has shown himself to be an absolute moron in interviews and on twitter. He just doesn't care at all about the game. Head in the clouds. And despite what people here say - it does show on the pitch - sure he can take down all the bombs but he goes for these stupid foolish runs on tackle 1/2 down the sideline and throws idiotic offloads all the time. Its his decision making which lets him down. Not the greatest defender at centre either - he's a winger if anything - and we have two of them.

Apart from one downright shocker last year, he was one of the safest players and most consistent. Whatever he is outside of the pitch he should be picked based on on-field performance.

Don't tell me he's a worse option than the current selection.

I got a pretty good line into one of the current first grade and all I can say is that it must be pretty hard to motivate someone when you don't talk to them.

As in the current coach? But he's a local champ isn't he? Local boy made good? Champion of the common man? Wang the size of excalibur's sword?

Dear Bluey, I'd love to have a combination of Inu, Hurrell, Manu and the Fish at centres and wings.

Thoughts on Manu and Hurrell as our wings guys?. Possiblity or no chance?.

Hurrell is fine at centre. Inu and Hurell should be our centres, give the Fish a couple of games on the wing for the Vulcans to see how he goes there. Then move him in for Tupou.

Regarding the 'bomb-to-Manu' tactic, at least Manu has been running hard and looking to contest most times.

Well we don't know the specifics, but you'd assume its the kinda stuff that is basically forcing the coaches not to pick him.TBH I think he needs to be given an ultimatum- either pull finger so theres no reason not to select him or, or he gets an early release. I don't think the current situation is good for anyone.

Yep agree on that, we definitely look better at constructing scoring plays.I really think there's only two things that need fixing at the moment, the slow starts (obviously) and the team's currently tendency to play a bit impatiently. A bit of percentage football, especially early on, would be a good thing right now.

I totally agree. The way some are talking, it sounds like the sky's about to fall, and many seem to be taking selections/non selections very personally. IMO I've seen more good things than bad, and the bad with work can be sorted. The team being picked isn't quite what I personally wanted...but shit, you cheer the team selected because you're a supporter, surely? Did Cleary get as much shit week 3-4 of his first year? Might be interesting to scroll back and have a look...There was times during the Cleary era I HATED watching, it was boring as batshit. This, has been entertaining. With a few more weeks, it could be entertaining, and winning. THEN things can be assessed, if improvements kicking in, players back, how the win/loss ratio is going...three games is not nearly enough, and we've done okay (although obviously not good enough yet).

Dear Bluey: I don't think you should do anything based on your League knowledge and past coaching, and don't have a mind of your own...you should pop onto forums and listen to talk back, and do everything mentioned...regardless of how many different contradicting views and advice there is...;-)

maybe he has been popping onto the various forums, and is trolling us by not selecting Inu...

The Fish is certainly putting his hand up for inclusion and J Bro is putting his up for non-selection (although he did improve, or maybe got less bad, as last weeks game progressed). The question is then who gets fitted in where. Glen is obviously happiest at FB, but where does Locke go?

Not really. If he was putting our best side out there each week I wouldn't have too many complaints. Guy does sound very stupid when he talks though.

I'd really like to see if Locke can potentially do a Lockyer and eventually convert to 5/8, if he's got a kicking game that could be absolutely lethal with Fish at the back. I really don;t rate Leuluai.

I like the confidence of the warriors this year - although i think they need to pull back a little on some of those high risk plays - especially against quality opposition - that blind side run they made on the first tackle just about had me ripping my hair out....

IF - and thats a BIG IF, Bluey is a smart coach, he'll be pulling back on some of these moves and working to reduce the error counts and forced passes which killed us against Many (that one by Taylor on the first count at the end which killed us was just plain stupid) and let the Eels in with a sniff when we should have dealt to them +50 plus.
