I know a lot of the older ones..... but I don't think it necessarily means each club but having some link with your own team's major sponsor would be helpful. ASICS, James Hardie, Famous Grouse - they have generally been places most people know of or can relate to.

Wagon Wheels (and not the ones you eat) and Pirtek are reasonably obscure when compared with Mitsubishi Electric, Sanyo, Coal and Allied, Jetstar etc

Guys I really can't see an issue with having lesser known organisations as major sponsors as our club as long as they're paying a premium doller for the privlidge, that's my concern right now.

Of course, but if you have a stronger brand associated with your club, you can bask in some of that refelcted glory and only benefit.

Wow Sight and Sound in NSW is pretty weak, not to bad in SE queensland.
CFMEU is you can ever acutally understand what is on the Jersey.
I qould Guess C & A (newcastle) would be about the same as Pirtek. Well known in the Industry / Area.

Coal and Allied is on a different level to Pirtek as it is a major employer in the region.

I know CFMEU. But most wouldnt.

I've banged on this before.....I'd be embracing the businesses at North West for starters.

Hell, even in Parramatta, Suncorp building there I'm pretty sure is their NSW Head Office?

Funny you should say that. When I win OzLotto on Thursday night I was working out what I'd do with the $30 mill. I was actually thinking of a three year deal.

Just trying to work out what I'd get them to put on the jerseys though.

well, I actully haven't thought of it that way, maybe that's the reason why I'm not in Marketing but as a supporter and football club member my prime concern is the bottom line which is something that I've raised concerns about in the past.
