it was mentioned yesterday prior to the AGM that he had been in negotiation with Sid Kelly during the day, so there may have been some chance of an agreement being settled.

Sid Kelly is a good man and if anyone should be chairman and if anyone should be doing the Big Time negotiations, Sid is the man. Whether people think DF has done a good job or not, Sid would deal with it respectfully and businessman like.

The last two days I have been under the pump with a work seminar that finished today, so I have only been able to find out what has gone down through this site; the Telegraph; and by popping into the Club today.

While I was at the seminar, I had the opportunity to talk to a MD of a company speciailising in HR as well as some of his legal eagle buddies. Let me tell you right here right now, if this keeps going down the path it is going, I reckon 99.9% that DF WILL get his $400k termination payout. There is only a small chance in hell of that not happening.

99% surity would equate to odds of 99 to 1 against it happening (1%)

i'm sure there's a more accurate conversion, but the point is the same. that being some people pass of percentages to prove a statement without really knowing what the odds mean.
