We'd better draft well or it will be a 6-10 season and a high draft pick in 2017. Starting D still looks strong and if Barrett and Ray come on strong, we should be fine on that side of the ball.

I wonder what will happen with Vernon Davis now Owen Daniels is gone?

Mathis ended up signing with Arizona on a 1 year deal, shame he started very slowly but came on at the end of the season.

I don't think Vernon will be back, don't forget we have Heuerman coming back off his injury from OTA's, i think we will go with him + Green & pick up 1 more FA or a rookie in the mid-late rounds.

Signed Russell Okung, I like the signing but he seems just about as injury prone as Clady is, Okung has never played a full season in his career.

KUSA - If Russell Okung is healthy, the Denver Broncos just signed themselves one of the NFL’s best left tackles.

Okung’s health is a big if. Recent shoulder surgery and various other injuries that have caused Okung to miss an average of four games a season in his six-year career is one reason why he signed a team-protected contract Thursday with the Broncos.

According to two NFL sources, Okung’s contract is for one year and $5 million – providing he passes two physical exam checkpoints before the season. After this season there are year-to-year options – at the Broncos’ discretion -- that could pay Okung a total of $48 million in the four seasons from 2017-2020.

They are saying the Broncos are trying to trade Clady now, I don't see anyone offering anything for him when he's likely to be cut soon.

Ty Sambrailo kicks inside to guard next year, with Paradis the only returning starter, still not great but better than last year, depth is a big concern imo, I can see them picking up a few lineman in the draft.

I've been following Okung news since he visited Detroit.

Dumped his agent so he didn't have to pay a fee. Signs for 5 mill first season, & the optional 12mill the seasons after.

So he dumped his agent to save 150K. Unless no one gets passed him, I highly doubt Denver will have him on at 12mill a season.

Just seems a strange contract, & I think he's cost himself a lot of money by not having an agent.

Also makes me wonder why Detroit wouldn't offer him more than 5mill, when they are in desperate need of an OT.

I doubt Kaepernick ends up in Denver. His asking price is too steep and even if we cut Clady, we need to sign the drafted players and the Broncos want Hillman back. Why, I have no idea.

I hope we make a play for Mike Glennon and draft a QB in the first round.

Jared Crick signed a two year deal with the Broncos. Good signing IMO. Seems a lot like Wolfe and if he can take his game to the next level, the loss of Jackson is somewhat offset.

AFC West rivalry aside... Losing some very good cogs in defence... The QB debacle... Aqib Talib shooting himself( :lol: by the way)... And Von Millers contract negotiations which are starting to get personal for some reason...

If you guys can get back anywhere near the Super Bowl it would be a massive achievement IMO....

He might get that but will probably have to play out this year under the franchise tag although a trade request closer to tc wouldn't surprise me either. He'd be worth two first rounders at least.

If I was Elway... If your going to trade him... Why not give the Jets a call and see if they can work something out for Wilkerson... Although I think after Cox set the market for DT's yesterday I'm guessing Wilkerson could be pushing up towards what Miller wants...
