Elway's legacy is pretty much confirmed IMO. Won a superbowl, two superbowl appearances, two AFC championships and five division titles in five seasons as GM. The Broncos and the Patriots would be the only two teams with that level of success in recent memory.

It'll be interesting to see if Sanders is anything without Peyton.
It's not like Peyton was on fire last year. I expect Lynch to take the reigns by week 9 and air it out more than what they will with Siemian at QB. Sanders can run both underneath and the sideline so he has versatility and will probably get more targets than Thomas in the early games IMO.

Yep, now that Kubiak can run his O the ground game has opened up. Anderson should be a top five rusher this year and Booker should have around 600-700 yards this season.

I still can't believe this D. It is phenomonal. It would have to rival the 85 Bears. Surely?

Broncos Pass Lakers To Become Second-Winningest Sports Franchise

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS4) – The Broncos are the second-best team in pro sports since Pat Bowlen bought the team.

With Sunday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Broncos moved ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers for the second-highest win percentage among American pro sports franchises during Pat Bowlen’s ownership.

Since 1984, only one other professional sports team in the country has a better win percentage than the Broncos.

The San Antonio Spurs have a record of 1,631 and 945, during that time, for a win percentage of .633.

The Broncos win percentage is .616, with a record of 316 and 197.

Rounding out the top five are the Los Angeles Lakers (.616), the New England Patriots (.605), and the San Francisco 49ers (.603).

Offense back to it's 2015 ways vs Atlanta without a legitimate RT or a TE that can block. Tough spot for Paxton IMO. Siemian probably would have fared slightly better due to being a bit stronger in the short passing game. Quick turn around, will be interesting to see who is available.

Just a horrible performance all round

Sambrailo looking like Schofield 2.0, he has been awful so far this season

I had flashbacks to that game Mack got 5 sacks, Beasley ended up with 3.5 sacks vs. Ty

On a short week vs. SD with no HC hope we rebound

Lynch played like a rookie. Siemian plays like a guy who knows the system well.

O-line was bloody awful against a lacklustre defense. The real concern is blocking the run game IMO, it's been a huge problem all year, Falcons were just the first to exploit it. We're really missing the push right up the middle that Malik used to provide. Everything is certainly fixable though, overall I think we are a better team as a whole, we just lack depth in some key positions which is pretty apparent with Stephenson and Green out at the moment.

The play calling has been woeful and the running game non-existent. You have two WR's who can stretch the field and they are vastly underutilised. We should beat Houston but we need to step it up big time if we are to have a chance.

CJ out for a little while sucks but i'm excited to see what Booker can do with a larger workload
