Playing this game makes me long for a similar WWII game. Running around open areas with a few nazis scattered throughout and randomly running in to allies. I have been wanting a good new WWII shooter for a while and this gameplay in that setting, I think, would be spectacular.

I have a question - can other players come in and kill you for no apparent reason?

Let's say you're exploring and come across a batch of baddies. You're outnumbered and struggling - but off in the distance, some players can see you in the battle, and rush over to help you.

Can those guys be total dicks and waste you?

Must say the game has me intrigued.

Nah, they can't kill you outside the crucible, which is just your standard PVP.

Ok I picked this up today. Just hit level 6. Amazing game. FPS crossed with a bit of RPG. Awesome concept. There seems to be a lot of things to learn and a lot of things to upgrade. I tell you what, then that no respawn thing happens it gets the heart going.

I'm relying on really limited wireless here in the hills. Does the game need a lot of data downloading? Or is it pretty light on, like Diablo 3?

I've been using a solid 3gb a day while smashing out a good 4+ hours minimum since launch. You won't need overly fast stuff for the story, as a mate of mine get's by just fine with horrible internet, you'd struggle with terrible lag if you wanted to jump into the crucible though.

Jesus, 3GB a day is insane.

No chance I'll be getting it, then. My speed isn't an issue, but wireless caps out at 20GB a month.

Xbox one measures bandwidth usage, and since launch it's had a consistent 3gb while only using Destiny.

Finally had the time to start this game, soaked up a good few hours or so. This game is f**king incredible, really enjoying it.

I was when I was based in Sydney. I'm out with the family in a tiny ass village. Neighbouring towns get ADSL2+, but no chance we'll ever get that here.

I could get more download by switching to satellite, but that would be dropping back to 512kb.

A 512/512 would be better then most wireless connections anyhow. Gaming is mostly upload speed. Shucks man I'm on the worst adsl2 connection lol. Like 3.5kms from the exchange lol.

Ive hit 20 and now im playing team objectives. 3vs3 is very entertaining.

I had bad times on ADSL2+, would top out at like 2mbps download, and some ridiculously low upload number I can't even remember. Switched over to cable and I now get 35mbps download, 1.1mbps upload.

f**ked me over a week or so ago when I didn't realize my Steam was downloading a game. Used up 3,3GB before I even noticed.
