Wowee......I couldnt get over the size of this blokes arms, they were huge.I know he had beefed up,but crikey he looked scarey.

They showed pictures of him in the 97 GF and Ill swear it was a different bloke. The 97 version was a whipit, the latest model is a big feller.

Could be a real find for the Sharkies.

agree
I saw him at Randwick races some 5-6 weeks back and he didnt make me thing "wow he is massive".
In 9 yrs you would expect your body to change and mature with muscle density

Interesting to see him come back from England to the ESL to the NRL to retire normally its vice versa, maybe Jason Smith's started a trend!

Precisely!

Albert will no doubt be a good signing for the sharks... if he can stay fit

Albert is close to the best winger in the world and if he was just a few years younger would of had 8 clubs after him

I rate Albert, killed it in SL,and had beefed up to boot.Still looks super fast.

I reckon he may well surprise a few doubters.

um no
the only winger who are better than albert is grothe , king (if included) and covell. sing is up there but is only solid, albert is a match winner and one of those "watch albert , dont give him space" type players

on ability , 15 clubs want his signature, on age only a few would bother
the sharks have got themselves a very good player

It really tears me up to see Alby playing for another Australian club. As a massive Knights fan, and a winger myself, I've always looked up to Alby. It's really gonna kill me to see him playing for someone else.

As for his arms, sure they're probably bigger than they were when he left the Knights at the end of 2001, but I reckon the jerseys would have an influence on how they appear. In 1997 (for the Grand Final footage that's been referred to here), jerseys were woollen and loose to wear. Nowadays, jerseys are made of that synthetic shiny stuff and are usually made to JUST fit the players individually, creating an almost skin-tight jersey.
