Premierships: nil Runners up:nil

The team is based in Port Moresby but represents the neighboring Gulf Province of PNG. (it is approx. 4 hours by road from Port Moresby to Kerema the capital of the Gulf Province)

It is a new Team that only entered the Competition in 2018. So far they have not yet made the finals. Last year the collected the wooden spoon while going the whole season without a single win.

Do these clubs have X accounts or any social media presence?

I'm not on X myself at the moment so I'm not too sure.

But here a few Facebook accounts for some of the teams.
Some a quite active and get updated regularly and others not so much. Some of the teams have huge follows on their Facebook accounts.

Sorry mate. Forget to add the last Team.

12. Waghi Tumbe
(1996-2000, 2015-2022, 2024) (Colours: Yellow and Green)

Premierships: nil Runners up: nil

The team is based in Banz which is the capital of the Jiwaka Province in the Highlands of PNG. They originally entered the competition in 1996 but folded in 2000.
They were re-admitted after 15 years in 2015. Their push for re-entry became stronger after 2012 when Jiwaka officially split from Western Highlands Province to a province of its own. In 2023 they did not play in the competition and were replaced by the Sepik Pride.
In 2024 they were brought back and at the expense of the Sepik Pride who were let go.

THE Rabaul Gurias have handed ex-Hunter and newly appointed head coach Wartovo Puara Junior a three-year coaching contract beginning this year until the end of 2027.
Franchise team manager Mapua Tamtu told The National that Puara’s appointment as head coach was the best option for them given the former Hunters assistant coach and player had started his senior career at the Gurias in the early 2010s before joining the SP PNG Hunters for their inaugural season in 2014 and playing 135 games over two stints (2014-2018 and 2021-2022) totalling seven years at the club and winning a title in 2017.

2025 DIGICEL EXXONMOBIL CUP FOOTBALL CONFERENCE
The PNG National Rugby League Competition (PNG NRLC) today kicked off the 2025 Digicel ExxonMobil Cup Football Conference, that will be held over the next four (4) days in Port Moresby. The 2025 Football Conference will be the biggest of its kind, with up to 90 participants expected from across all clubs, as they come together in preparation for the upcoming season.
Following the historic decision of a PNG NRL team entering the competition in 2028, the focus of the game is to build a strong pathway for Papua New Guinean players and that this can only happen through creating and developing stronger domestic competitions.
The theme of this year's conference is ‘Building Better Clubs’.
The development of participating clubs is critical to the success of the game nationally. The PNGRFL understands that Better clubs mean greater opportunities for every player to reach their dreams. The conference will cover education, training and accreditation for club Strength and Conditioners, Medical staff, Coaches, Franchise Mangers and Club Chairman.
The 2025 Digicel ExxonMobil Cup Football Conference is supported by PacificAus Sports, Digicel, ExxonMobil PNG, Kumul Mineral Holdings Limited, Coca-Cola Europacific and MVIL
