Everytime I see Natty I can't bring myself to ask him, because I have this dreadful
feeling that his answer will be "nothing". I will find out though.

Bob Vercoe is the trainer (Marist bloke). Been around for years. Been with the Ferns
and most Senior Auckland rep teams. Good trainer and a real nice bloke. I like your
very fitting description of him :lol:

Also not sure who are the management are on this tour? But I think they have to be the first to go before anybody else job is even reviewed.

They reckon alcohol wasnt involved but I wonder if they knew some of the island boys - were on alcohol bans during the season by their respective clubs.

there were alot of awful performance out there tonight:

Firstly the ref calls - helped break the NZ team and led to couple of the earlier tries.

hookers and halves - were awful - halatau probably the better performer and he still was ordinary no mater how much he tried.

I thought the outside backs played better - but they have no chance until there anything resembling a backline.

As for Perrett he was one of the kiwis best and he has probably wrapped himself up a kiwi wing spot when webb or inu come back.

Though Simon Mannering had one of his best games - he actually starting to put some oomph in his tackles. Hopefully he puts some beef over the offseason. Made nearly all his tackles.

Though Anderson, Eastwood - were used to no effect, both had no use really - we would of being better served by Harrison and Blair.

Pritchard is a lazy fulla - so much talent but unless he up for it - he doesnt deliver on his potential.

As for coaching the most disspointing and influential problem is the structure in attack. There is none.
Forget enterprising play - cant even do the basics.

Watch the ruck area - hooking - theres no one ready to run onto the ball etc and when leulauai and hohaia get the ball there is no one to create or start anything. Looked like 5 year olds - mite need a trainer to put their hands aparts and to make sure they do two passes
